Business card scanner
Scan the card. Keep why it mattered.
A card gives you a name and a number. Add a quick voice note or booth photo and TaliCRM keeps what you talked about with the contact, so the card still makes sense next month.
For people who come home from conferences, trade shows and client visits with a pocket full of cards.

From start to next step
- 01
Scan both sides
Tap Card and photograph the front, then the back or skip it. Extraction starts as soon as the card is captured, before you save.
- 02
Add what the card leaves out
Record a short voice note or add a photo of a badge or booth. Extract the voice note into text and a short summary, then review it alongside the details from the card.
- 03
Check, then save
Correct any field AI got wrong, pick the event and tags, and save. Quick Add clears the form for the next card and keeps the same event and tags selected.
Cards that still make sense after the event
The original stays attached
Card images are saved with the contact and appear in Gallery, filterable by event and tag. Reopen the original when you want to check a detail later.
Context from more than the card
Name badges, booth shots and other photos can be read for contact or company details, plus one short note when there is something worth following up on.
Linked to the event
Attach each contact to the event where you met. Later, open the event to see everyone you added there, or filter Contacts by it.
A few practical questions
How accurate is the scan?
It depends on the photo and the card design. AI reads the image and fills the fields it can identify. Review them before saving; the card image stays attached so you can check it later.
Can I scan the back of a card?
Yes. After the front, you are asked for the back. Skip it if it is blank and extraction runs on the front alone.
Where are the card images processed?
Images and voice notes are sent to an AI provider through TaliCRM's server for extraction and transcription. They are not processed only on your device.
Does it scan QR codes on cards?
The Scan QR button in the contact form reads a QR code from a photo and picks out a LinkedIn link. Other QR content is shown but not imported as contact details.
