Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This policy explains how TaliCRM and the TaliCRM Meeting Recorder browser extension (the "Extension") collect, use, store, and share information. By using the Extension you agree to this policy.
Who we are
TaliCRM is a personal relationship manager that helps you remember and organize the people you meet. The Extension records browser-based meetings and sends them to your TaliCRM account so they can be transcribed, summarized, and matched to the right contact. Contact: info@talicrm.com.
What the Extension accesses and collects
- Meeting audio. When you start a recording, the Extension captures audio from your microphone and the meeting tab on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Captured images. Images you choose to capture during a meeting.
- Your TaliCRM authentication token. Read from your logged-in talicrm.com session so the Extension can upload recordings to your own account. It is never sent anywhere except talicrm.com.
- Limited diagnostics. Your browser user-agent string and recording-status diagnostics, used only to detect upload failures.
The Extension does not collect your browsing history, does not track you across sites, and does not read pages other than the meeting tabs you record and talicrm.com.
How we use the information
- To transcribe and summarize your recordings.
- To match a meeting to the right contact in your account.
- To let you play back, review, edit, and delete your recordings.
- To diagnose and fix upload or recording failures.
Third-party processors
To transcribe and summarize recordings, audio and derived text are processed by the following service providers, acting on our behalf:
- OpenAI (api.openai.com) for transcription and summarization.
- ElevenLabs (api.elevenlabs.io) for speech-to-text transcription.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the single purpose of the Extension.
Storage and retention
Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored in your TaliCRM account. We retain them until you delete the associated meeting. When you delete a meeting, its stored audio recording is deleted from our storage. You can delete any meeting at any time from the TaliCRM meetings inbox.
Recording consent (important)
Laws in many regions require that all participants consent before a conversation is recorded. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by the laws that apply to you and the other participants before you start a recording. The Extension only records when you explicitly start it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and uploads are authenticated with your account token. Access to your recordings requires being logged in to your account.
Your choices and rights
- Delete any recording by deleting its meeting.
- Disconnect the Extension by logging out of TaliCRM or removing the Extension, which clears the stored token.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing info@talicrm.com.
Children
The Extension is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
